Working on a potential project where we would use FTTH from the CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM and hap AC units as CPE. The customer is looking to deploy a bulk IPTV solution that uses individual multicast groups to deliver each of 130 channels. The average stream is reported by the IPTV provider to be 12Mbps, but they didn't know the average pps at the time of our last call. The provider is also saying that we shouldn't have any trouble with equipment from the big players (Cisco, Juniper, etc), so I'm optimistic, but I also want to be sure. Has anyone dealt with this scale of multicast (good or bad), or if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. We are working with the provider to see if we can visit a lab site to test with MikroTik gear. I'll report back my findings if we get the lab time.
