CAPsMAN

Tue Aug 18, 2020 12:42 am

Hi,
I have 2 devices - Chateau LTE12 and cAP ac - both same OS Release 7.1beta1 (Chateau is brand new, not possible to use version before 7, so upgraded cAP ac to same)
I want to enable CAPsMAN, to control cAP ac wireless settings.
I am following this tutorial - https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:S ... sMAN_setup
As I understood I dont need to do step 1 - as my Chateau is in default configuration, and also I dont need to do step 3, as I press reset button for 10 sec, and put cAP ac in CAP mode.
But I am having a problem. I can see that cAP ac is showing in CAPsMAN configuration page, but no IP address is assigned to clients, who connects to wireless network.
Somebody can help with ideas?

Did you enable bridge on the cap settings?

If you are reffereing to manual "Step #3, setup CAPs - Connect to your CAP, create a bridge"
Yes, bridge is there and is created by default in CAPs mode

Yes, also wireless.

Easiest way is by resetting the cAP ac and choosing CAPs Mode.
System, Reset Configuration

Shy, did you try the above reply (resetting and configuring CAPs Mode)? That's like the only thing you have to do on the cAP ac.

Can you tell how the bridge needs to be aet while local forwarding is in used?

Hi,
I did reset on both devices and tried to set up all again, but same result.
I added exported configurations, maybe you can help to understand where is problem.

Maybe problem is with 7.1beta1?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
