MPLS/VPLS/OSPF Problem

Sun Aug 30, 2020 11:47 am

Hi all, we have a big problem and have no more ideas.
We have 2 OSPF networks, all APs and RBs of the networks are in MPLS network and APs have VPLS. If we do restart a AP, a RB or a MPLS make restart, we have in complete Network 1-3 seconds a timeout to internet and all devices. Connections hang also in this time in this networks and on pppoe clients. we have no ideas, what is the issue.
All devices end on his ac (CCR), also 2 CCRs for every OSPF network 1 ccr, alls VPLS go in a bridge with horizon 1 and 1 eth/sfp port are in same bridge without horizon and end on ppp CCR.
Do anyone have a idea to help us here please? If more informations need, please tell which. thanks.
best regards

Debug RSTP. May be some reorganisation of switch/Bridge tree.

RTSP is in bridges on APs set to none, all other devices have it active. how can we debug rtsp in log on which device, on ac or all devices? well they are many.... in log i cant add rtsp for loggin...?

Normally, you don't want spanning tree running on the bridges that connect VPLS together.

Trying to converge RSTP across a large network creates a lot of problems. I would eliminate loops and turn spanning tree off.

If this isn't possible, I would at least use MSTP instead of RSTP as it calculates the number of switches in a path in a different way than RSTP and is more efficient.

Thanks for answer @IPANetEngineer, you mean also set rtsp to none on all devices or only all devices with vpls or only on ac with all vpls tunnel?

Māris B. mean is a problem with ldp reroute, well is not implement,

What you mean? regards
