LTE SXTR cat4 and LHG Cat6

Sun Sep 13, 2020 11:25 pm

Hi all, I am getting this results with SXT LTE4 and I am wondering If I can get better with LHG LTE6.
If there is only B20 800MHz, will CAT6 bring any more speed? Or just stornger antena and not much different between old cat4 modem and new cat6 modem ..?

Also why different speed when both operator use same tower (distance) ... bts antena direction? btw power?

O2 has B8, B20, B40 and B42 that would work with Cat6.

CellMapper.net give us info that O2 have Bands: 20/3/1/7/38.
2CA is possible with R11e-LTE6 as:

You can open a CellMapper.net and check bands of other ISP, even check what Tower have what bands (not be fresh often) and open r11e-lte6 documentation who give you all possibility of 2CA.

In some place I use LDFR + EM12-G M.2 - works perfect.

Hi SiB, thanks a lot for answer. I already saw some of your answers = cookbooks how to check LTE option on location. Thank you for that, very usefull !!

I check our local web gsmweb.cz for towers around locations. Also do some scanning with Network cell info mobile app.
Then I scan the air with SXT LTE4 different direction (all towers around direction) and sadly i saw nothing, just this one tower and only 800MHz B20 band.
I have two card Vodafone and O2. Both getting the same tower and both has only B20. Just Vodafone has stronger signal and speed with SXT LTE4 as 20/20Mb. BUT I want o2 as that SIM has unlimited data - so problem :))

So I guess I can not do nothing more, just try LHG LTE6/4 for stronger signal, but LTE6 itself will not bring any extra speed (2CA) as this MIkrotik modem can not do 2x B20 ... right?

PHY-CELLID BAND PSC EAR.. RSRP RSRQ
134 B20 6300 -100dBm -17dB
203 B20 6300 -96dBm -12dB
411 B20 6300 -108dBm -19.5dB
