i have a RBM33G here with an LTE and LoRa8 card.
i would like to add a GPS because the LTE card does not have GPS integrated.

But when using the LTE and LoRa card the USB port is only USB3.0 .

How can i add a GPS? perhabs via the serial port?

You can connect GPS module to UART pins directly on board. Remember to use TTL level serial module e.g. u-blox NEO-6M

LTE - international (O2 / German band)
LORA8
LAN

My idea was to use the RBM33G together with the PCI cards one for LTE and one for LORA8.

But I'm not sure if it is working and how stable it is, did you got some experience with this setup ?
Which cards do you use ?

What confusing me are the possible LTE/4G cards, which one will work for O2 LTE Germany ?
Did a need a LTE Antenna ? Is the mANT LTE the right one ?

What I'm missing in your shopping list are

• two cables (pigtails) U.FL to SMA (ACSMAUFL), to "convert" the U.FL connector on the R11e-LTE6 board into a SMA female peeking out from the CA433U case,
• two SMA male-SMA male cables (SMASMA) to connect the LTE antenna (they are not bundled with the mANT LTE 5o)
• probably one more U.FL to SMA (ACSMAUFL) to do the same for the LoRa signal, as the LoRa antenna set also comes with an SMA male-SMA male cable (this time it is bundled)
• power supply (which you may already have though)

As for "will it work with O2 Germany", check the channel usage here and compare it to the product description.

Why not use better LtAP (not mini)? It has integrated GPS and optional external connector por additional GPS antenna.

About the LtAP looks like a great device also supporting two miniPCI which will cover the needs by installing an LTE and LORA card, on other hand the price will be higher than the RBM33G + Chassis.

It depends on the price of the GPS (which is part of the LtAP) and the price of weather protection of the RBM33G+chassis - I assume at least the GPS and LoRa antennas will be outdoors, and antenna cables shold be ASAP (S=short in this case).

Btw, there are several significant differences between LtAP and RBM33G although they are built around the same MT7621: LtAP has the single USB3.0 port routed to the miniPCIe slot, so only USB2.0 is available at the external USB connector; on RBM33G, the USB3.0 is only available at the external connector, not on any of the miniPCIe slots (nor the M.2 one).

In which case I need USB routed to the miniPCIe ?

Most, if not all, the LTE modems use the USB lines on the miniPCIe, not the PCIe ones. I have no idea about the LoRa module in this regard.
But my main concern was regarding using the USB port on the RBM33G for GPS as the port may be 3.0 only (it's inside the case, I can't check right now whether it detects USB2.0 devices).
