How do I make use of the Interim-Update feature? We are planning on collecting the accounting data every minute from the PPPoE sessions and not on termination of the connection as is done on default.

Will enabling the Interim-Update function on the PPP Profile do the trick or is there any further tweaks we need to do?

it will do that:
/ppp aaa set interim-update=1m

So, the accounting packets will be sent each minute and the whole accounting information will be sent at the end of the session too.
