Fri Sep 07, 2007 11:59 pm

Hey, Now i got my mikrotik box working whit mac filter and limit list,
and every thing work great :D Thx MIKROTIK! ;D
but i have a questen that i have wonder over in a long time, but never get a anwer that helps me.
I got 5 ip from my isp and i want to get them tru my router so i can shere them to the computers that need
the internett ip.
why?
I got 10 mbits shere on all 5 ip.
Then i can control the limit on the ips, and i can have a statestikk over it.
so how can i make my router to route this ip adr?

How is your box configured now? If you have been given 5 IPs and a gateway, the routing is already done, just bridge with MT.

When you make the NAT rule, try S-Nat = your internet pool.

Such as 222.216.115-222.216.115.228/24

Can you write the rule?
Do not understand.

Just write my problem once more:

Its it possible to route the local ip.
And the public ip?

Lets say that i have my router whit one public ip 222.222.222.222
and then i have 5 more public ip accessable 222.222.222.223 - 222.222.222.228.
and its 10 mbits share to all off them

Then i have 7 clients on my network and 5 off them just need local ip,
that have mybe this setup:
IP: 192.168.0.2
Nmask: 255.255.255.0
Router:192.168.0.1

But then i have a webcam and a webserver that need public ip.
what i be able to have done was to have a switch before the mikrotik and set the webcam and server there.
and use the my ISP router but then i have noe control over howe mutch capasy they take off my 10 mbits line
and i can not sett a limit to them. how can i get them to go true my router?

So you'd set up the public IP's as addresses on the public interface of the MT

Then you'd setup a nat rule for the 5 clients that want to connect, for them to use 1 IP address
(assuming Public is the Public/WAN interface and 192.168.1.0/24 is your Private/LAN range)

add chain=srcnat action=masquerade out-interface=Public \
src-address=192.168.1.0/24 comment="masquerade for LAN network" disabled=no

then add direct one-to-one nat rules for the other addresses.
