I have a new RB4011 router. If I use Quickset HomeAP Dual to set it up, the 5G radio won't turn on. I get message about unsupported secondary channels. If I go into the wireless interface and change the channel width from 20/40/80 XXXX to 20/40 XXX, it will come up. Then, I change it back to 20/40/80 XXXX and it stays up.

If I try to set up a CapsMan server, the internal radios won't turn on. They are listed as being managed by CapsMan. However, they don't put out any signal. Nor, is there a way to enable them when they are managed by CapsMan.

If I connect a Cap AC, it is not found, either.

I followed various tutorials, videos and even tried Quickset Home Mesh and have no luck. The RouterOS and firmware were upgraded to the latest version. If anyone got CapsMan working on an RB4011 with a Cap AC, please let me know how you did it.

Forget QuickSet do it manually.

Even if I do it manually, the internal radios will not turn on. Nor, will our Cap AC be found. I've read elsewhere that getting CAPsMAN to work on an RB4011 is an issue. I contacted support. They asked me to send them a support file. I am still waiting to hear back from them. Has anyone successfully got CAPsMan server to work on an RB4011? If so, how did you do it?

Tech support told me to open a terminal session and paste the following line:
/interface wireless cap set enabled=yes interfaces=wlan1,wlan2 caps-man-addresses=127.0.0.1 bridge=bridge

It came right up! Thank you!

I upgraded the RB4011 to V7.1 Stable and deleted the configuration. I ran QuickSet / Home Mesh and the problem still persists. I entered the command from the previous post and CAPsMAN is working again. So far, V7.1 Stable has not given us any performance issues. I hope the developers fix the QuickSet / Mesh issue so that the CapsMAN server works properly on the RB4011 router. Once you get it configured to your liking, it works very well.
