that forces us to use mikrotik on other end which becomes an expensive solutions than just installing a cpe connected to a linux running frottle. Is nstream compatible with frottle.

Why not use an integrated CPE with antenna running Mikrotik ?
They're not that expensive ...

Maybe you should be asking for a windows/linux based Nstreme driver?

Actually a windows driver supporting Nstreme would be very handy - I thought of a few applications it would be great to have - but it would require writing drivers for all major brands/models wireless cards, miniPCI and cardbus, and various flavours of windows, which would also create a whole load of support problems .... not to mention supporting Linux too.

Pick only one and go with it. Just make sure it's an A,B,G card: )

Well there we go - any takers? Sounds like a job for a windows genius/guru experienced in Atheros drivers.

I just checked, the same AR5213 card that MT sells is also available as PCMCIA (CB9), so drivers should be same/similar, and it's an a/b/g card, with turbo mode support.

Then all we need is a VOIP handset supporting Nstreme as well, high-speed roaming support, and we'll have the best WISP system ever ....

Regards

What would be awesome is if somebody would just write a firmware to let either the Deliberant 1300 or CB3 to have NStreme. Talk about an awesome upgrade.
