can you fix cloud backup time not shown correctly. i run every day at 0300 and it says 0000. i think cloud backup window does not use correct time zone.

YES, this annoying problem that was present ever since version 3.22 has finally been fixed! Hooray! Finally I can use new versions again.
(I had already received 3.30rc versions this week so I knew it was fixed...)

Another (less) annoying problem I reported is still present: the column width is not saved in the Log window.
Whenever I open a new session, the Log window has the same column width as before, although window size and "Show columns..." are saved OK.
So on my large screen the Message column is truncated and I need to resize it to see the full message, for which there is ample space.

It would be nice when the set column width is saved, and even nicer when the Message column automatically takes all remaining space instead of having a blank column to the right of it (but that is of course true for all windows...).

Yes, that is it! It was reported over and over again and dismissed with "we cannot reproduce it" until finally this week, after I sent a .viw file and provided access to our router they were able to reproduce it and it was fixed.
Indeed a critical fix, without this the use of winbox on routers with lots of configuration was outright dangerous!

One thing, when I use Ctrl+c it generates an automatic "carriage return" in Terminal . Not handy when you are copying in the same line.
Please split Ctrl+C and select+Enter.

Update: behavior is a bit strange for the Enter. [SUP-60072]

Example, I like for testing scripts to paste it into terminal and I put it between {.....} and then press Enter to start the script. Now I have to press twice Enter before the script is ran. This has to if you add comment to script.

One Enter needed:
Two Enters needed: Ctrl-C is also tricky. I have text on the clipboard but in terminal still waiting for excution of the script. Because of a syntax error display I want to past the the corrected script so I press Ctrl-C to exit. Oops now is the clipboard empty.

IP/Firewall:

If you press ctr + D when the terminal is open ( without an active SSH / telnet connection ), the terminal closes and the next terminal that will open continues from the previous number + 1...
For example, if you open terminal1 and press ctr + D, the terminal closes, if you open again Terminal2 appears not Terminal 1 ...

Yea, I dont know why they don't put the buttons bottom and verticaly, in that way will be alots of space for text :)

As a new user of Mikrotik I wonder, how a software that looks 1:1 the same on screenshots on some MUM slides from 2013, has still so many bugs to fix in 2021.

Looks same, works different. Just zoom-in! New features always comes with new bugs. Product development cycle.
IMHO MikroTik relies a lot on the crowdsource community for final-testing stable releases before it goes into a long-term branch.
Don't like bugs? Use long-term releases.

Thanks for the reports, we are aware of the column issue, that it does not save properly.

There is no long-term release for Winbox. These bugs were either a) always there and long time not discovered or b) are simple regressions because of e.g. some new column-drag-drop-feature.

When you need some very stable version without recent features but without some known problems, try version 3.21
It will still work with all version 6 RouterOS (but not with the v7rc3).

Just switched over to 3.30 TY, TY , TY , TY. I can now /export my config in terminal and it is fully visible scrolls well and doesnt not get overlapped on lines. TY, TY

Stupidly, when I installed v3.30 I forgot to keep a copy of v3.29. I reported the issues with columns to support on Thursday but their software archive doesn't have copies of previous version of winbox, that I can find.

I can't figure out how to select the columns I want to see, because my selections in the Columns window has no effect on what happens in the DHCP Server window. I can't detect any pattern in it. Sometimes columns disappear, sometimes they appear, but they never seem to do what I ask!

in router os v7.1rc3 when clicking on + sign in interface list and selecting virtual for creating virtual ethernet it will open wireless window and there is no virtual ethernet menu despite of ROS v6.
when you create veth and assign ip from terminal. ip and gateway does not show in interface window when double click on it.

You may want to reconsider if it is a good idea to "always work in safe mode", especially when you have reconnections.
Safe mode is a nice feature when you want to change critical connectivity-related parameters, but when you have it enabled all time time it may do more bad than good.

I have described on another topic how to schedule a auto-reload backup when starting critical procedures than inevitably disconnect winbox and safe mode clear all work done.

I am seeing this in the bridge column selector. The more I try to select some subset of columns, WinBox ends up choosing for me.
