3rd CM9 problem

Sat Sep 22, 2007 7:03 pm

Hello,

I've got a RB532A running with 2 CM9. Today, I've installed the daughter board giving 2 extra mini-pci slots and added a 3rd CM9.

It reports up fine at the /system/resources/ but it doesn't show up at all at the /interfaces or at the wireless menu. Any ideas?

I tried moving the 3rd CM9 to the other empty slot of the daughter board. It changed IRQ according to /system/resources but it still doesn't show up at the interfaces....

Ideas anyone?

make sure pigtail is not shorten/connect to metalic part of wireless card, try to test CM9 on the another board, probably card is broken.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried also with another brand new CM9 with the same results... At one point I had all 4 CM9 connected and they all showed up at system/resources but only the 2 of them connected to the main board show up at interfaces or wireless menu...

I tried disconnecting the pigtails with no obvious results. I took out the daughter board, switched the cards around and connected them again with no apparent difference. I downgraded to an older ROS and then upgraded again. ...nothing...

Today I ordered another RB532 and another RB502 and 2 more cards. But I'm still confused on why they don't show up at my old RB532...

Any more ideas?
