SIGNAL LEVEL

Mon Oct 01, 2007 9:33 pm

I HAVE 2 RB133 WITH UBIQUITY XR2 CARDS WITH 16 DBI SECTORIAL ANTENNAS, CONFIGURED AS AP BRIDGE/WDS, SIGNALS ARE -72 TO -78 ON BOTH AP. WHEN I TESTED THEM ON THE BENCH THEY WORKED FINE BUT, NOW THE SEE EACH OTHER BUT THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN THEM. DISTANCE IS 5 KM 15 METER TOWER IN BOTH PLACES. 2 400MW SENAO RADIOS WERE WORKING IN THIS PLACES BEFORE WITH LETTLE PING TIMEOUTS. PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

Lets see if I uderstand your question. You configured and bench tested your 2 APs and they were working just fine in WDS mode, but now, on the towers, they dont talk to each other? Have you checked interfearance? How about changing the frequency?
