I have a radius server which was running under Router OS 6.49.2 and I just migrated my router to version 7.1
The Radius lost all its configuration when upgrading to version 7.1 and I cannot restore the old database.
I still get an error message saying "Failed to migrate legacy data: legacy database not found in provided path" while pointing to the old version folder!
What to do is disaster!

well i would say it is completely your mistake, yet,
first take the files you can find using winbox and keep them somewhere you can access them again later,
second downgrade to v6 as it can load the old DB I believe
if it could not load it, try loading it by copying the files you saved earlier to the filesystem of the router, and access your userman interface, and go to maintenance, and load the db if you could find it.

The old version files are still in the router in the user-manager folder.
The new version is in the user-manager5 folder.
The import of the Legacy database does not work!

I've got exactly the same issue. I ran this on a test machine and gives exactly the same behaviour.
I've tried to fix the sqllite db from the 6.49.2 version as well, but no luck.
I'd like to migrate to 7.1 but not if this issue is not resolved.

I still haven't solved the problem, I downgraded the router to version 6.49.2 while waiting for a solution that works.

migration also does not work on 7.1.3

same problem for me, version 7.1.3 does not solve the problem and Mikrotik seems to give a damn

Is there a manual db migration from 6 to 7... I also need the old template with qr code

@infomate: I don't believe there is any reasonable manual or documentation, and no one has been able to get the migration tool to work.

As they said in this topic viewtopic.php?t=185562 , documentation are not available for now. we have to wait.
My advice is to go back, or try to create a new database.
