Indeed, works for me as well.
Of course normally you will get only some link-local address on the PPPoE and then you need to setup DHCPv6 client to request a prefix, put it in a pool, and assign an address to the LAN from that pool.
That is just how things work in IPv6. No NAT.
Some providers do not understand that. Basically they do not offer IPv6, only claim it.
