Explination Needed on user manager

Wed Nov 14, 2007 11:03 am

Hi

could any one answer me on the following: using user-manager

1- can i make the random username generation up to 10 characters after the prefix? e.g. User Name: abm/25sas33gau

2- can i make a unique password generation for all users. e.g. User Name: abm/25sas33gau password:abm or User Name: abm/99bat61tar Password:abm

3- rate limit (rx/tx)= this i know that it's the maximum transfer rate the user receive measured in bytes. burst rate (rx/tx)= what it means? and measured in? burst threshold (rx/tx)= what it means? and measured in? burst time (rx/tx) = what it means? and measured in? rate min (rx/tx)= this is the minimum the user get.

4- what are the license limit for active sessions on usermanager for level 4, 5 , and 6.?

thank you.

1) Yes, you can.
There is function that is called 'Add Batch', there 'User Prefix' option is available, that set prefix for usernames.

2) No, it is not possible from 'Add Batch' or 'Add User' functions, you may use console commands to set the same password for added users.

3) These options are described here,

Bursts are described here,

Min-tx/rx option is used to set separate 'limit-at' (CIR), while default limit specify max-limit (MIR).
