Received WEP Errors

Guys,

My Access Point is reporting a noticible WEP errors (Packets that have WEP encryption errors) although I did not enable this feature!? I have disabled the WEP encryption in my AP-so why I am receiving this error?

My best guess is that some clients is trying to connect to your SSID using WEP.

Can you post config?

Diganet,

what kind of configuration would you like me to post here?

but keep in mind that my AP has been config to work without WEP or WPA, I have disabled all the authentications.

by the way Diganet, what does it mean by unicast and multicast packets? and what is the cause of huge amount of deffered and FCS errors?

Would like to see your RouterOS configuration, also know what board and radio you are using.

unicast packets is host to host communication, multicast is broadcast packets.

I do not think the RouterOS has anything to do with this problem. Its all about my access point.

I am using RouterOS 2.9.27 on Pentium 4 processor, and my AP is wireless interactive..I am using 802.11b frequencies.
