The best hardware

Thu Nov 22, 2007 10:35 am

Hi all, and thanks in advance.

I have to configure a new hardware to use it like a high capacity router.
It will be used to QoS and it will be critical to the bussines, so we need that it will have the best hardware to be sure and fast.
What it is mean is that we will need the more high disponibility that i could have(two power supply, two cpu and the best option in hard drive).
I do not know if there is some hardware in HP, DELL or other manufacturer of computers to be in rack.
Could i use a HP ML360G5 or other?
I need you can be sure about that kind of high-end hardware that i could use

Best Regards...

Another question. Can Mikrotik work with a CPU Dual Core (Intel Core 2 Duo)?
What kind of storage could mikrotik use?

It´s a great product, but I have some doubts when it comes to hardware.
Can HD can i use? Only IDE...can i use SATA? Some type of array?
