Wouldn't doing a hard reset using the reset button downgrade to the previous working ROS firmware? In most cases issue is solved by downgrading to the previous working ROS firmware.
Then upgrade the LTE modem.
Then upgrade again to the latest ROS firmware
/interface lte info lte1 once
/interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1
So that code will not work on the terminal? No, reset does not downgrade ROS version.
Which means the upgrade you thought you did, did not happen (on itself that's already strange).
Can you open terminal and paste this command:
NextCode: Select all/interface lte info lte1 once
(it will not upgrade yet)Code: Select all/interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1
LTE Firmware Check will also advise what the latest version is, do the two fields differ at all? When I do a LTE Firmware Check I get this:
EP06ALAR02A08M4G_01.003.01.003
I'll check and see what the firmware is on the new one coming in.
Just an FYI, I am really unfamiliar with the forum, support, and such. I usually just google things to find my way around the Mikrotik equipment I have. This one has me stumped though. It is my first time using Mikrotik for an LTE modem though, so it's all new for me.
lol, yes, you asked about the APN. However, as far as I knew it was correct. And what did I ask in the very first entry I made here ?
Good you got it figured out.
You are confusing RouterOS and routerboard firmware.Wouldn't doing a hard reset using the reset button downgrade to the previous working ROS firmware? In most cases issue is solved by downgrading to the previous working ROS firmware.

The reason I ask is I just did another hard reset and it does show the 7.3.1 as the factory and current firmware(with the option to upgrade to 7.6 below it).
When I go in and look at the LTE firmware, it is the same as before.
Do I need to do a Netinstall of the 7.3.1 to change it all back?
No offense meant, but I’m not confused about the two. I know fully how to check and upgrade both. Both are v7.6You are confusing RouterOS and routerboard firmware.

You are running os 7.6, but your routerboard firmware is still at 7.3.1
Can you give more information about this LTE module firmware update? I can't find anything about this anywhere. I'm trying to connect with this same model to AT&T and am getting nowhere!Update -
Been in contact with Mikrotik Support. They released a new LTE module firmware for it. Upgraded both of my SXT's and now they both work great.
Fingers crossed the issue is resolved now, but huge props to Mikrotik for getting on top of this quickly.
