Default configuration the CSS610-8P just works when connected to a router (DHCP) as all trusted ports are checked.

System > DHCP & PPPoE Snooping > Trusted Ports

However when changing anything on the system page for example the hostname the trusted ports become unchecked and therefore DHCP packets are dropped. DHCP lease will timeout and devices will lose the (L3) connection L2 remains. Manually enabling the trusted checkmarks and applying the changes does not work.

Resetting the switch to default is the only way to enable the trusted interfaces.
