No login screen, free access

Mon Mar 07, 2005 10:45 pm

We have been running the mikrotik server for about a year and recently people started to tell us they did not need to use their login ID or password. Tests showed this was not always happening, but was becoming more common. We have not made any changes to settings, it just started doing this. Any ideas where to look. I am still learning the manual.

I checked the cookies settings and they are inactive. I just don't see how a new laptop can startup and sign on with no authentication.

seems that firewall configuration is faulty. You are probably accepting all requests without requiring the login information.
