dhcp server RC6

Sat Oct 06, 2007 9:00 pm

I have just swapped out an RB532 with 2.9.46 with
an RB333 with 3.0RC6.

Some of my clients are using Senao 2611CB3-plus (deluxe) clients.
The ones with CB3 connected through Routers, the routers accept the IP address.
The ones with CB3 directly connected to their computer get the offer but never accept
the offered IP.

They were working prior to the upgrade.
Other clients appear to be working fine (PS2's, and RB133c).

What do I need to send to support?

PS. When I set ip statically, the client works fine.

Correction.

It affects all clients regardless of radio, and regardless of them having a router or not.

I can see the discovery requests, as well the DHCP offer, and that is where it stops on the clients which do not work.

Any Ideas??

I really need a resolution to this..

Will a support output file be sufficient?
Or will a packet capture be required?

I have noticed this on a second AP (fewer clients) also.

Problem still lingers.

Static addressing works.

RC6 is old - try it on RC13, and if its still a problem email a supout to support.

as changeip already mentioned upgrade to latest available version and describe what you have done/tried to resolve problem. create supout.rif file and send it to support
