firewall rule by time

Tue Jan 08, 2008 2:34 pm

Hi, I have a little and maybe stupid problem, I want a firewall rule to work only from 8pm to 1am so I try to set the rule from 20hs to 1hs and it says wrong time, end time should be bigger than star time. So I can only set the rule to work from 20hs to 24hs (1 hour less than I need)

what am I doing wrong? can anyone correct me?

Thank you.

So 1am is the next day, isn't it ?
Probably, you can create opposite/reverse rule from 1am to 8pm ?

are you talking about reverse the rule or the time?

the rule is drop TCP over 26 connections, syn. How can I reverse that rule?

and if I set the time from 1am to 8pm would drop in daytime not night time as I need.

sorry if I understood you wrong. Thank you Sergejs

yes, it was about the rule.
Well, then you need to create two rules.
One rule from 8PM to 12, then from 12 to 1AM.
