basic question for routing --need help

hi all
i m confused to give route at base station.
here its my network diagram.

how client1 and client2 can access to SERVER ip address 192.168.20.5????

i have to add some routes at Base station.but i can not understand.

plz any one help me for routing????

i hope someone help me to sort it out this problem.

i m really appreciate .

add dst-address=192.168.20.0/24 gateway=10.20.1.1

James,
If you want a basic routing course, check out some of the tutorials available at http://www.learntcpip.com/.

In order to add a route, you can do as ashish has suggested. You need 3 routes added in the router at the ap in your diagram. One route for each of your 192.168.x.x networks.

according to ur conversation i have to add 3 routes at BASE STATION

dst-add=192.168.10.0/24 gateway=10.10.1.1

dst-add=192.168.20.0/24 gateway=10.20.1.1

dst-add=192.168.30.0/24 gateway=10.30.1.1

am i right?

wrong....No need to put all three.
as your webserver is located in 192.68.20.0/24 network. Just give onle one route in BS. All others are connected with BS "if i am NOT wrong"

Yes, the base station needs all 3 of these routes. This is, of course, assuming that you are not natting at any of the clients. If you are natting, then there is no need for any routes and the clients will reach the webserver via a dst-nat address of 10.20.1.1. It sounds like you are not natting, however, so the routes you mentioned are necessary.

ashish: all the cleints r connectd to base station.

butche:yes i n not use firewall rules over there .no NAT anything at base station.


so whats the solution for that?
i become confused.

plz give me reply.
