VPN Site to Site with VLAN's

Good morning,

Forgive my ignorance, but I hadn' t done anything like this before. I need to set up a VPN site-to-site between two mikrotik routers.

I need to communicate two differents VLAN's with this VPN. I though I would be able through L2TP, so I followed this tutorial:

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/L2TP (site-to-site section), but I'm not able to ping the remote network.

Are the VLAN frames encapsulated through the VPN automatically or I need some additional configuration?
Do VLAN's must be created on both sides consistently?
I need to enable firewall rules to allow traffic or VPN traffic passes over?
I understand that when everything is ready any machine will be able to ping the remote office without downloading any client, the VPN is transparent for users...

What's the difference between:

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/L2TP

and

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/L2TP_%2B_ ... ik_routers

Any help would be appreciated, since I think I am a little confused
