up-load speeds gone to nothing.

I took a lighting strike July 2.
Replaced everything on tower and added poe surge protection at the AP.
The only thing that I didn't replace are the antennas, lmr400 cables, and lighting arrestors.

The download in the field is great but the upload from the cpe sucks. I've change settings on cpe nothing will improve it.

The AP is a RB532 with 2.9.27 and downgraded it to 2.9.18 to see if that will help. Also replaced SR2 card.

So far nothing has helpped. It is like this on all sectors on this tower.

Anybody had this problem before?

Yes eveything is grounded to leg of tower.
lighting surge protector from antenna
antenna
radio is gronded to backplain of box and box is bolted to tower leg.

And tower is grounded at the base coming off each leg with ground leads.

I'd try swapping out the lightning arrestor as these can't always be trusted after taking a hit, even if they appear to be working. Not sure how or why this could cause you problems, but it would be the first thing I'd replace...

Edit: Are your signals the same at both the AP and CPE before the hit?

yes they seem to be the same as before the strike.

Every lighting arrestor can take some limit of voltage/strikes/time of striking ...
I would first change them, before, cards, software and cables ...

If the arresstor is bad why would it pass traffic at all, or tx great but rx sucks? Also the customers signals are great.

I am still gonna replacing them anyway.
This is what I have done so far. I posted this on another forum.

I replaced everything.
From server up to top of tower. This includes cat5e wires to each AP. I have 5 AP's on to the tower the 900 system is working fine. I am only having issue with the 2.4 gear. The only thing I haven't replaced on the 2.4 AP's are the LMR400 cables, Lighting protection, and antennas. It's not just one sector it's all 2.4 sectors.

We have looked over the sectors and we see no markings from lighting, same goes for the coax as well. We did find the location of the lighting strike and it came in at the base of the old 900 gear omni. The lighting protector for it was not chrome looking anymore it was a pretty golden color. It has all been removed and replaced also.

From the MT forums they think the lighting protectors are the cause, but how would it would it send fine and not receive much at all?

Everything ran great before the strike. The only thing I haven't replaced are the antenna sector's, lighting protector's on coax and the coax.

When I removed the blown radios from the tower. The SR2 cards looked ok, but when I placed in a spare board they would lock up the board. On the boards the only burned spot was at the ethernet port on the MT532 board.

Things that got replaced:
Server PC NIC card RB44 from MT
24 port switch
All Cat5e wiring from server PC to top of tower
All Poe's
Added more in line surge protector's, 1 for each AP at the top of tower and 1 behind each POE. Coming into the server room added another surge protector as well before entering the Mikrotik main PC.
New MT532 boards with new SR2 cards, mounted in new outdoor boxes from Demarctech ( I like the room these boxes offer )
Mew mmcx to n female connector.

Well I just got through by-passing the lighting arrestors on the antenna and the up-load test from in the field didn't change.

Just got through replacing the coax on all sector's and replace the 1 sector. On 1 side it looks like it helped.
