winbox

Is there a way to download winbox.exe when hotspot is enabled?

all i keep getting is page not found

I guess, you have to authenticate in HotSpot.
Than you will be able to download Winbox from router (or any other resource) page.

did that. i am logged into hotspot.

Check that 'www' service is enabled in 'ip service' menu.
Check there are not any rules blocking access to router in 'ip firewall' input chain.
I don't have any problems to access router's page, when I'm authenticated in HotSpot.

I don't have any problems to access router's page, when I'm authenticated in HotSpot.
i do have a rule that forwards all port 80 requests to port 3128 so that the web proxy can function.

other than that its the basic hotspot masquerading rules and thats it.

change the 'www' service port in 'ip service' menu from 80 to something else, i.e. 808. You can then access at router-ipaddress:808
