Hello,

How should I report a bug? Is this forum correct?

On a SXT Lite-5 v6.33 I'm trying to install package:
wireless-6.33-mipsbe.npk
from all_packages-mipsbe-6.33.zip and I get the error:

[admin@Mikrotik] > log print
jan/01/1970 01:00:10 system,info verified wireless-6.33-mipsbe.npk
13:52:36 system, warning omitting package wireless-6.33: newer package wireless-255.255255 is already installed
13:52:40 interface,info ether1 link up (speed 100M, full duplex)
13:52:44 wireless,info 4C:5E:0C:C2:97:7B@wlan1 established connection on 5180000, SSID Mikrotik
13:53:47 system,info router rebooted

However package wireless in not installed:

[admin@Mikrotik] > system package print
Flags: X - disabled
# NAME VERSION SCHEDULED
0 routeros-mipsbe 6.33
1 system 6.33
2 X wireless-cm2 6.33
3 X ipv6 6.33
4 wireless-fp 6.33
5 hotspot 6.33
6 dhcp 6.33
7 mpls 6.33
8 routing 6.33
9 ppp 6.33
10 security 6.33
11 advanced-tools 6.33

I see the exact same error on v6.30.2. Package wireless used to be included in main package until v6.29.1.

Why you cannot use wireless cm2 package?
You already have wireless fp active and cm2 installed too. You can choose any of them to activate and use.

You cannot ad another wireless package to bundle package.

Netisntall Router and chose what package you need.

Historically golden rule is ether you use bundle package or install all packages separately.
I can see some changes in 6.33 changelog, maybe behavior changed because of those.

I also suggest to use wireless-cm2.

Package wireless has better nstreme performace then fp and cm2. Tested on many production links (5GHz-n 1x1 and 2x2).
You cannot ad another wireless package to bundle package.
Why is that? There was no problem to install cm2 and have all 3 packages.
Netisntall Router and chose what package you need.
I need to upgrade a RB remotely.

It must have been long ago, on 6.9 there's no problem to install additional packages on top of a bundle package.
