i am very new to this business so this looks too complicated to me and need your kind helps.

i have Mikrotik router RB2011UIAS-2HnD.

My current setup is:

1. DSL internet: 10.0.0.1 dhcp on
2. Corporate lan: 192.168.28.x gateway 192.168.28.3

What i have is.
i have connected my DSL modem on eth1 and set mikrotik ip to be 10.0.0.135.
i have connected my Corporate Lan on eth2 and ip is set to be 192.168.28.244 under 192.168.28.3 gateway.
i run wireless as a hotspot to spread DSL internet over Wifi. it has dhcp server on giving ip address as 172.16.1.x

What i want to do is:
When i connected to Mikrotik by 172.16.1.x ip via Wifi or cable i also would like to be able to reach computers under my Corporate LAN. Because i have NAS server and network printers running under it.

is that possible? Please describe me how i can make it happen.

It depends, without knowing how your network is organized its hard to provide specific tips. Do you have another router? A diagram (hand drawn is more than enough) will make things easier.

Right now your problem is probably routing; devices on 172.16.1.x send their traffic for corporate network to the mikrotik router, and the mikrotik router just forwards it to 192.168.28.x, but... devices on that network will send their replies to their default router, which most probably isn't the mikrotik, and thus doesn't know how to reach 172.16.1.x.

A quick and dirty solution would be masquerading on eth2 so that all traffic from 172.16.1.x to 192.168.28.x network appear to corporate devices as coming from 192.168.28.244.

Depending on your network, the "clean" solution would be setting a route on that corporate network default gateway so that it knows how to reach 172.16.1.x trhough 192.168.28.244.

Post a diagram depicting how the corporate network is organized for better instructions...

We have another router on 192.168.28.x network but there is noway for me to config it.

And i have no intention to reach Mikrotik when i am under 192.168.28.x network.

My only purpose to reach that network when i am under 172.16.0.x network.

A DSL router provides both the services of a network hub and the ability to connect to the Internet using broadband. Provided you already have a broadband service provider, you should be able to install a router and start using the Internet as well as creating a local area network. Many broadband service providers will provide you with the necessary hardware to do this.

Step 1

Plug the broadband router into an electrical outlet. Connect the telephone line cable to the back of the router and connect the other end to a DSL filter. The DSL filter should go between the telephone cable and the telephone socket. This is normally provided with the router. You will need one of these connected to every occupied telephone cable in your house. Connect the filter to the free telephone socket.

Step 2

Connect an Ethernet cable to the first port in the back of the router and connect the other end to the back of your main computer. Repeat this step for any other computer in your house. Wireless devices such as laptop computers and desktops with wireless network cards need not be connected if they are within range for the wireless connection to work properly.

Step 3

Turn on your main computer and log into Windows. Turn on the other computers connected to the network. You should be able to view all of the other computers on the LAN by opening the start menu and running "Network" by typing "Network" into the "Search programs and files" box. If you have desktop icons set to visible, simply double-click the network icon on the desktop.

Step 4

Refer to your broadband service provider's instructions for further details on accessing your broadband account. When you first install a new router, you will normally be able to start using the LAN immediately, but to access the Internet, you will sometime need to enter a user name and password the first time.

Thank you for your responses.

@Fibernetwork, wish that was that easy Our main idea here is not to use internet but accessing corporate Lan computers when using internet supplied by DSL. Otherwise our corporate Lan also has internet but managed by pfsense with many restrictions.

@pukkita, our corporate Lan is run by Cisco router which we are not allowed to re configure. So basically i have to handle it without touching the other router. i have to do all things just on Mikrotik.
