SXT-LTE bridged mode?

Hello. I've one SXT-LTE connected to RB2011. How can I get public IP from LTE interface on RB2011? I cannot add LTE interface to the bridge. LTE interface is obtaining address without dhcp-client. For now I've setup with double NAT (one on sxt and one on RB2011), but i want to use ipsec serwer on RB2011 and I cannot.
Thanks for response.

I have the same problem. Think SXT-LTE need to disable Connection tracking Firewall=no
To create a VLAN , to unite with lte out
On RB2011 port example (eth1) to combine with VLAN and then you should work. Sorry for my English

is a matter of logic,
the device making the LTE connection gets the ip adress from ISP, form that point you have to deal with it as is.
Of course You need to make all the NAT on the sxt LTE, all the topology behind sxt LTE need to be according to that

Do not argue , but you need to try at the there is such problem, but do not have the equipment to test

unfortunately I have no config. so to no equipment.
You can:
1) configure LTE
2) Create a VLAN on SXT LTE
2) Create VLANs on mikrotik
3) Sebright VLAN on SXT-LTE c lte, and out eth1
4) Connect the SXT LTE and mikroitk
5) Hang VLAN on eth1
6) Set ip address on VLAN

No, this functionality is commonly called "DHCP Half-Bridge" but is currently unavailable on SXT-LTE.
Hopefully Mikrotik can do this after they have v7 out.

1. It has a built-in on-board, high-class LTE modem. +++++
2. Built-in antenna 9 db, a little, but enough for me. +++
3. Has strange type cover, which is likely to be hit the water tightness of the body in question. What do you want for $ 150 ?! --++
4. It can not simply transfer the LTE- transparent interface to another router via ethernet. WHAT? Well, it's obvious, banal function! O_O -------
Almost bought this device, even made the order .. Well, that did not pay! The same garbage (double NAT) quite successfully can my Huawei 3372 .. I will not buy SXT LTE.

I am also getting frustrated on this.
Why isn't it possible to create a bridge containing LTE and ETHER1?
Like any other LTE routers can - it's called "bridge-mode".
So MikroTik please post a working solution or implement it on your next stable release.

What do you mean with "3) Sebright VLAN on SXT-LTE c lte, and out eth1"?
Did you test this setup?

My company's network guru (we're an ISP) made a work around for the same reason. Someone in our marketing department sold this type of connection to a client that needs static public IPs for their servers.
He used another device on out network to host an EoIP tunnel in order to connect to the SXT LTE.
This used a lot of addresses for us (because we configure with static pub IP pools), 8 addresses were used in total, of course there are other methods to this
Device 1
pub ip was used with its own pool
private ip was set for network and gateway addresses
device_1.rsc
Device 2
pub ip was used with its own pool
private ip was set for client address
device_2.rsc

Thanks for suggestions we have this feature in TODO list but no eta for now.
Can you share what other LTE router have this functionality , Model and how they have implemented this feature?

NETGEAR 4G LTE-Modem LB1111
ZTE MF282
ZTE MF283+
Since you update RouterOS I will use the LB1111 in bridge-mode for this.

Dovado does exactly the same with MOST of the LTE dongles.

Bump on this old thread.
I just got a SXT LTE 6 thinking to set it up as a drop-in replacement for a NetGear LB1111 that I use in 'bridge' mode to connect to a dual router Zyxel LRT224.
The Netgear is 'transparent', gets the public IP from the LTE provider, and passes it to the Zyxel, or to any single PC attached to its port.
For the sake of me I cannot find a way to setup the LTE6 to do the same: firmware RouterOS 6.47,disabled NAT and DHCP, bridged WAN with ethernet 1, no luck.
It seems like such a basic feature, I can't believe the LTE6 is not capable of that!
In the Netgear LB1111 you have two modes, 'router' and 'bridge', switch between the two and you go from a router to a pass-through modem.
I did also the same realtively easy with a TIM - provided ADSL modem, and with an Asus N55U ADSL modem, same thing, switch from rotuer to 'bridge' and connected also to a WAN of my LRT224
I also contacted Microtik technical support, has anybody made this to work in 2020?

- You should create a new post
- You not read documentation who describe that feature: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:I ... gh_Example
