bandwidth test with TCP connection count = 1

Wed Feb 24, 2016 12:14 am

Hello,

in a following layout :

[RB2011UiAS]--[sm] <=> [ap]--[CCR1009]<==(PtoP)==>|switch|<==(PtoP)==>|switch|<==(PtoP)==>[CCR1016]

we are trying to figure out how to obtain a consistent TCP bandwidth test (connection count=1) running from [RB2011UiAS] to [CCR1016]. All (PtoP)'s are 100Mb/s fiber lines.

Brief results :
1) [RB2011UiAS] to [CCR1009] = 40Mb/s
2) [CCR1009] to [CCR1016] = 50Mb/s
3) [RB2011UiAS] to [CCR1016] = ~15-20Mb/s

Disabling a connection tracking and changing a queue type to "mq pfifo" on all devices didn't help.

Do we hit a limitation on a ROS or we are missing certain config parameters ?

Thank you.
