Hi,
I'm running Mikrotik x86 based as PPPoE server (NAS) and customers are authenticating through Radius.
I'm not sure if the problem is specific to the version, but I'm right now running RouterOS v6.34.2
The problem is that my IP Pool, which is used to dynamically assign Private IP addresses upon PPPoE connection to users was exhausted, although the Pool has 4094 addresses, and the users authenticated (having established connection) were only around 2000.
I have noticed that in IP Pool -> Used Addresses there were multiple entries for the same username with different IPs - how this can happen, having in mind we allow only 1 Login per username and I checked few of the usernames having more than 1 Used IP in PPPoE Interface and found them to have only 1 session.
Anyone experiencing the same issue, or having any idea about why stale IPs are there and how to remove them?
I'm sure that problem is actually linked to this one: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=105653
