RouterBoard 532+502 rebooting randomly

Thu Aug 31, 2006 10:32 pm

Hello,

I use mikrotik RB sice half year, and I am satisfied with them, but ...

Some weeks ago I have problem with a RB532+502 with 3 Senao NMP-8602 Plus (Atheros 5413) miniPCI cards. (with two 5Ghz link and a 2,4Ghz AP)
The problems apears after I put a third mPCI card for another 5Ghz link.

It reboots randomly, after 5-10min or 1-2 hours. I have stabile power 220V + a 500W UPS. I have changed the power supply to POE 48V or 18V adapter, the same problem. I changed also the daugtherboard.
(i have also updated the software to 2.9.29, still rebooting :( )

could you have any solutions for the problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

U have problems with senao cards. Change power (to max. 13 on 5GHz) or change cards :( With senao and rb it's normal.

I put the miniPCI card rates to "Default", I think 16dBi
is little bit more stabile, but still reboot 1 time per day
