Because 6.34rc42 requires Winbox 3.4 I've created an OSX version of Winbox 3.4 with WineBottler.

Note - It is not signed - you will need to allow it permission to run. It is a clean install of 3.4, but you have to take my word for it. It would be far better for Mikrotik to take the 5 minutes themselves to do this and release an "official" version, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Open the archive - move the winbox.app file to Applications - and that's all you should need to do.

Please let me know if you have any issues, I've tested on the few machines I have access to - but all except one already had Wine on them, so I've not been able to test many use cases.

They already have done a Wine based app for OS X. You can update it from the Tools menu.
Many of us just "bottle" it ourselves to maintain security of our systems.

The link there is to 3.0rc15 - and it's not been maintained since then.

I would really like to use an actual OS X version of WinBox !! With all the MacBooks you see the Tik guys using, you'd think there would be a movement towards that. Wine can only do so much.

I would love a native WinBox (MacBox?) too. I really hate having Wine install on my Macs. It drains too much battery. That being said, Wine works pretty well for WinBox. I do recall that the devs pointed out that they actively make sure WinBox works in Wine so that it can be run on Windows, OS X and Linux. I think it's hard enough for them to stay on top of the RouterOS code for so many different processors. Trying to keep WinBox bug free on completely different platforms would really suck.

The Winbox in the manual is capable of auto update, it doesn't have to be maintained. It works with any OSX version
