Reset button on RB1100x2AH nowhere to be found?

Hi, is it possible that my RB1100x2AH doesn't have a reset button?

Let me preempt this by saying: I'm not a qualified technician like most of you. I like to consider myself as an advanced user/tweaker. I looked everywhere on my case and it doesn't have a reset button nor a hole to reach the reset button on the board. Is the only way to reach it by opening the case? Is that correct?

Why am I trying to reset it? Well, :? 2 rookie mistakes in a row:
- I made a typo when putting in the static IP
- and I turned on the hotspot feature without having a login/password

So now I've got port1 as the uplink (with the wrong IP settings) and the remaining ports (2 -> 13) are in bridge with hotspot turned on (without a valid password). So, if I plug the the uplink port to another router, I can't see the RB1100 because I've got no idea what typo I made. When I connect to any other port, I end up in the login of the hotspot with a user/password that I've got no idea what it is.

:? Slightly ashamed of myself

How can I fix this situation? Netinstall? Open case and reset? Is there another way around? Is there a standard password for the hotspot? I've tried tons of different passwords, but no luck.

Hi,

connect your PC into one of the LAN Ports (1-10) and see if you can access the RB via Winbox Neighbour List. When in doubt, just connect to the MAC Address.

Philip

Reset button can be accessed if you remove top of the case.

Reset button can be accessed if you remove top of the case.
on mine it was not an actual "button" rather pads on the PCB (TP12) that needed to be shorted.

i see. but this pdf is linked to the AHx2 product on routerboard.com, so you might want to correct this to lead to the right document.
