Is there anyway to configure short/long preamble?

Does Mikrotik default to short preamble?

The reason I ask is that all our equipment has always worked better on short preamble, and over distances we've found long preamble inoperable

I believe (unconfirmed by actual testing) that it defaults to Long Preamble. I don't even know if it can even receive Short Preamble but i will within a few weeks when i've added that feature to our client antenna.

I've noticed that Short Preamble works better than Long Preamble over a distance too, also i've noticed a rough 1mbit effective throughput increase on short distances when using 802.11b mode.
