Hi,

i would like to know which is the best way to configure my routerboards.
I have about 5-6 routerboard (all different model) all connected by ethernet, one is my "core router" and other are just AP bridge. I would like to configure all my AP with same SSID but i am having trumble with client's registration. Sometimes my client don't swap AP.
I have tried with CAPsMAN but it doesn't seems to work properly, should i try something else like static WDS or something like that? Any tips are wecome.

Thanks in advance

I added a reject for signal levels. After I set all my waps with different channels... as a client moves... signal level drops Capsman boots it from the old WAP. It rescans hears the new wap that it is closer too.. Roaming Forced.

Normally, it is "supported" by the client. Knowing Apple devices, they are really dumb. They really want to "stick" to the old MAC even if they have a stronger signal nearby.

Try to use the advice regarding levels. That way you deny access to clients which have low signal (=far away). and that way the client is forced to rescan, and reconnect to the new AP.
