In many peering internet exchanges we have a basic VLAN that sees all other peers. For instance in ix.br SPO peering its getting close to 1000 IPv4 routers.

In other to quantify how much bandwidth is being exchanged with each peering router we need to add filter by MAC address to the Torch interface, since src/dst IP of the peering router is only used for BGP/ping to the router and customer traffic passes through the router. So MAC is the only way to filter it properly.

This would be very helpful. Hopefully Mikrotik can see the importance of this feature and implement on V6 sometime in the future.
