After spending all morning finding the registry hack to set my VPN connection to private...

I got a call from one of the other techs.
He was programming some hardware at a client site. 
They use something other then Mikrotik... probably SonicWall...

The thing he wanted to show me was how he could "just find everything onsite". Over the VPN. All local computers showed up in network. Services like lutron showed all devices... etc.

We have been using Mikrotik for a while now and have "gotten used to" always having to know the IP addresses of devices over a VPN. Nothing is "found over our vpns. We have know the ip address and can't browse by mac or netname.

So this was like Magic to him.

We set up EoIP tunnels when we have to. But thats not useful for client type VPNs.

Is there a setting I have over looked?
