Need help. Willing to pay.

Mon Aug 08, 2016 7:01 am

Not sure where to post this, but I have a campground. I have setup all ubiquiti AP's and using RB750 and Hex for qos. I have setup a working situation, but I would like somebody with more know how to tweak it. I am certainly willing to pay the going rate. I am sure it could all be done remotely. I can provide a map of the whole situation as well as configure whatever you want, however you want. Must be fluent in MT and UBNT.

Please PM me.
thanks

Well, my skills are very limited. I have a campground with a WIFI network I built myself. It works. I am using MT routers and ubiquiti radios. While it works for going on 5 years now, I am sure that if I knew more, it would work much better. I just really don't know what I am doing. I understand the basics, but advanced stuff is beyond my understanding.

I can provide a map of campground with hardware and IP's, and setup remote access to go in and tweak the settings. I can also change out hardware in order to get a better situation. I can do the work, just need the knowledge. Somebody who is very fluent in MT and Ubiquiti is what I need.

Actually you should have some pain that makes you to change the things. What do you see to be an actual problem for you?

I am not selling my services here, but as a consultant, here are a few questions that might help you clarify your requirement.

Are you looking for a health check? Are you not sure whats in place and you want that investigated and documented? Do you want a security review and a report on priorities to improve / lock it down? Are you spending time supporting it that you are looking to reduce? Do you have performance issues that you want help in addressing? Are their new features that you have heard about and want to make available to your customers/ owners? Are you looking for a long term evergreening plan to help you understand future costs for budgeting..

Unless you are willing to pay by the hour to just talk to someone, and have your questions answered, consultants like to have a deliverable, something to help prepare a quote, make sure everyone knows what is expected and when the job is done :)

Mainly a health check, finding out what is up to par and what is not. Recommend improvements etc and go from there.
