Hi Folks,
Our mgnt network is 10.1.1.0/24. MGNT IP of RouterOS is 10.1.1.63
I have a PPTP server set up on routerOS to assign IP addresses in 10.2.1.0/24 range local IP is 10.2.1.0/24
RouterOS is also connected to the 10.1.1.0/24 network and on router 10.1.1.1/24 I have a route to 10.2.1.0/24 via 10.1.1.63
The goal is we connect to public IP of the RouterOS box and have access to the MGNT network.
The route on Windows appears as:
10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 10.2.1.1 10.2.1.2 21
I didn't tell RouterOS to send this route to the PPTP clients so I'm baffled.
Even though it's working perfectly I want to know why the PPTP server is giving the clients this route?
Any thoughts, and is it possible to 'announce' other routes to the windows client which would be via 10.2.1.1.
Thanks,
Q (puzzled)
