HAP FCC Certification ?

Sat Aug 20, 2016 7:08 am

What's the status on the HAP (RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT) FCC certification ?

I have a pending order (in Canada) which remains unfulfilled for well over 8 weeks now.

There is a drop down menu to select US or Canada on the International Version.

They were approved near the end of August. We have them in stock and have been shipping them for the past week.

And not legal to sell this International version in the US and Canada. We only ship them to other countries as should all distributors. That is why there is a US FCC version.

Came with a waiver. And directions to select "US" for regulatory domain.

And a question about http://www.roc-noc.com ... what does "market price" mean exactly? Every other site I see shows the Mikrotik MSRP as defined by http://routerboard.com . Then they show a slightly discounted price they sell at.

Big deal. So a European Mikrotik distributor is selling them into the US. What do they care? They won't care until the product is checked and seized at customs.

And it is still not FCC legal. Your waiver is meaningless. And the FCC is cracking down on imports of this kind. Why do you think the FCC has stepped up and is now requiring Mikrotik to lock down all of their new radios?
