Configuring bond interface with arp link monitoring

Tue Sep 13, 2016 7:47 pm

Hello,

On bond interface arp link monitoring is very useful when we have a switch cascade. My issue is that if I change link monitoring from mii to arp I start getting the warning below on my switchs.
I think this is due to CCR1009 router periodically monitoring MAC address on both slaves interfaces but as long as active interface or primary interface is UP by the MAC monitoring the other didn’t need to be checked. Can I be missing something and this is possible to configure?
