Cannot ping router interface

Mon Sep 19, 2016 8:15 pm

Hi all,

Newly installed a RB450G with version 6.33.5.

This MT router (eth2) is connected to my Firewall (192.168.100.1) with IP: 192.168.100.2.
From my Firewall (192.168.100.1) and the MT (192.168.100.2), I can access both devices from both devices.

From the MT Router (eth4: 192.168.200.1) which is configured as a PPPoE concentrator, an Access Point (192.168.200.2) is connected.

My problem is that from the Firewall, I am not able to ping either the MT eth4 (192.168.200.1) or the Access Point (192.168.200.2).

If I connect a laptop to MT Router (eth4: 192.168.200.1) and dial PPPoE, it gets connected and access everything on the Firewall and Internet.

My only problem is that from outside the Firewall, I can't access MT Router (eth4: 192.168.200.1) and anything behind it?

I think it is simply a basic problem but I will appreciate your help and suggestions on this.

Thanks,
Sanay

Do you have a route on your firewall to route that network range to the mikrotik router since it is not directly connected to the firewall and the mikrotik router has a default route back to the firewall.
