Does someone know what is the status of the next topics related to RB3011, this, at least originally, promissing ARM device:
- Partitions, I tested them with last RC and still not working.
- Support for HW encryption: RouterOS still does not support silicones capabilites of the CPU of this device.
- Why all the network interfaces interrupts are (hardcoded) attached to only one CPU, the #0 ?
- In the meantime, a new platform has been added to the long list of Mikrotik porting... but having support of HW encryption from day 0: Hex RB750Gr3.
- Despite the expectation raised around RB3011, ARM, ...no more devices were launched on this platform, ARM. Is this platform abandoned by Mikrotik ? If one sees to RB750Gr3…seems that this is the case….

Please, consider that:
1- I'm looking for information, nothing more.
2- I'm not interested on messages to explain or justify the why of these topics.
3- I'm using Mikrotik in SOHO environment, high speed fiber internet connection.
4- Before RB3011 I was a really very happy user of an RB2011 until my ISP provider migrated to high speed fiber: this when started my journey to discover about Mikrotik hardware....
5- I was lucky to have avoided RB850x2: the first HW version (no comments..) but also the second one not enabled to manage a normal UDP stream for IPTV without packets out of order (disordered by the device itself....the RB850x2): but wait, yes... RB2011 and RB3011 work like a charm ...

About HW encryption, it was promised for ROS v7, because currently used kernel does not have a driver.

It seems that the ROS V7 list of corrected bug and features would be a "monster" list....

But the biggest question is, will we see Ros v.7 in 2017?

ok, this answers only to one question. What about partitions ? I'm now extremely used to work with them for failsafe/backup and I'm scared to upgrade my 3011 devices.

undefined troule (bug?) on 3011 ROS 6.38
1 dns resolve, several client not able to resolve dns from any dns server
note : no firewall are blocking dns server ip,dns port etc
solved by restarting 3011, uptime 2d,maximum uptime 3d and then dns stuck
problem solved by upgrading ROS, now 6.38
2 instagram not opened, trace route to instagram (dns resolved ip) OK, using torch and find ip instagram says "no route" but internet are OK
solved by restarting RB, uptime 4d
