How to enable WiFi calling?

My cell phone network operator has recently enabled WiFi calling on their network. However I can't get it to work. Presumably as the required network traffic is blocked by my MikroTik router.
If I am correct the phone tries to establish an IPSEC connection over WiFi to the network operator. I read that ports 500 and 4500 UDP need to be opened outbound to achieve that.

Can anyone assist in the specific rules that I need to add to my firewall or NAT settings? My goal is that they do not mess up my incoming L2TP VPN on the router.

Thanks for your assistance.

David

I don't think there is a standard for that. You have to tell us the operator, maybe somebody knows what they use

Hi Normis,

My provider is Vodafone in the Netherlands. They haven't yet given any documentation as far as I am aware.

The only thing I found is that they use a solution from Ericsson: https://www.ericsson.com/news/1993653.

Hope that will give someone a clue.
