CapsMan and channel width

Tue Dec 27, 2016 6:54 pm

Hi there.

Im currently trying to setup a small wifi network with CapsMan, but are having some issues. When i enable Capsman on my ccr 1016, everything is fine. I create my configuration and my provisioning. When i enable cap on my HAP AC, they connect fine. I have seperate ssid for 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. This by specifing band in configuration. (could have been done by mac filter in provisioning also)
The issue is that i cant get more than 20mhz width in my 5 ghz interfaces. On the HAP AC it comes up with 20/ceee/ac

When i try to change the width on the capsman, i get "no supported band" on the interface.

Any suggestions ?

Martin

20/ceee/ac
That actually means 80 MHz channel- read it like 20 MHz base channel + 3x 20 MHz extension channels above the base one.

I was actually thinking about that, I'll test and hopefully you're right :)

Thanks
