Hi WorldRoutingFriends,

I am trying to set up a Hotspot with Usermanager for a free WiFi in a hostel.

My idea is to hand out a voucher with a username/password to each guest, allow for up to 3 devices to be connected with this voucher/username and to restrict bandwidth at 512k.
I'm in Bolivia and Bandwidth is very restricted and expensive so 512k is all the user should get.

First thing I wonder, what do I put in the Limitations in Usermanager to achieve the 512k limit - just in Rate limit: or is it advisable to fill out the rest too, especially Priority ? Also what's the format for the 512 ? kbps ?
In my tests I still got way more than 512k....

As for the Vouchers, guests are usually in the hostel for around 2-3 nights, so I guess it would be nice if the vouchers would be valid only for 5 days. Can Vouchers auto expire?

What is the suggested approach to have non technical personel generate such vouchers?

Hello, I found this incredible app for android is called MikroTicket https://fhx47.app.goo.gl/mikroticket generates tickets or vouchers for access by hotspot mikrotik and you can configure access times, bandwidth, time runs and makes automatic removal of the vouchers, I use it in my business. https://youtu.be/DZqg4BIMEUw Regards

Looks quite interesting.
Is this app OSS (haven't found that information in the references)?
Does it only work on a quite clean MikroTik or in conjunction with more advanced setups like CAPsMAN etc.?
Is there any documentation what it configures on ROS level?
