Hey guys
I just configured a mikrotik router ... and I don't want to let anyone to take the confirmation file
By making a copy for the backup. ... so how to setup a password and user name .. . For the backup. ..
Plz I need your help guys. ... thanx

First of all, I assume that you use the user admin to login to RouterOS.
Did you add a password on admin user? If not, go to System->Users, open the admin user and open the password tab and put a password there.
Then open the Files and press the Backup tab. If you don't put something in fields User and Password then the RouterOS take as default the user admin and the password you have.
Don't tick the Don't Encrypt field.
