Having an issue with more recent versions of the dude being able to read snmp on cisco and ubiquity devices. The snmp interfaces will not populate but snmp walks will show information. Devices that do not show snmp interface information.
Cisco 3560 & 2960 -- Only interface does not populate.
Ubiquity Unifi Switch -- Interface & IP tabs do not populate
Snmp is working properly and being graphed by the following devices.
RB 3011
Ubiquity Unifi AP AC
RB 912
The last version that I can tell works properly is 6.36.4. Testing with both 6.38 & 6.39.4 shows the errors with snmp.

Would anyone know if this is a bug or if the dude is changing the way snmp is handled and not to expect third party hardware to be read properly. I manage a mixed equipment handling equipment from several vendors.

You can import the oids in the dude already done, congratulations!
I can not even import the mibs in the dude.
Nowhere not find a good explanation or incomplete.
very frustrating

These have been things that have worked sense before the version 4 beta 3 days and stopped recently working.
Last time I loaded a mib I believe the way to load it was using winbox to transfer the file to the /dude/files/mibs/ directory or something similar. Once the MIB.txt file is there it is read into the system automatically and you will be able to see the mibs node tree show the newly imported data.

The MIBs are indeed not to be in the directory Mib. But in the root.
I also not know the proper procedure.
Mikrotik must learn to make at to provide good and clear documentation.

Did you take a look at this article:
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:The_Dude_v6/Files
The SNMP problem with other vendor is know, we will try to fix it. Please try latest bugfix version 6.37.4, can you repeat the SNMP issue ?

PaulsMT I am running 6.36.4 which is the most current version found where the interface counters are working. I am also running the latest beta version 6.39rc15 in a test environment which the counters are not running. Having 2 released non beta versions where this major feature is not working and not finding any word without digging thru many forum posts is kind of a let down.

I have the same bug after migration (export-import) form TheDUDE 4.0b3 (on Windows) to 6.38.1 (on CCR1016). SNMP shows all devices (Qnap, Windows Server, D-link, Printers Epson Xerox, RouerBoards) BUT not works with all DELL switches. We use many models: 4032f, 6224, 5548, 2048, X1052 - no one shows information on SNMP->Interfaces tab. Settings on devices are not changes.
(added) 6.37.4 works fine (on CCR1016).

Indeed, dmitryfromchel, it is and always remains the same.
Mikrotik people, make the dude easier to integrate more mibs and pictures of another brand and more models from Mikrotik devices. Forgive my pronunciation. But why do only half the job. Let the mibs inporteren easier expired why only reed.Make that we can add the mibs and images in an easy way.
or immigrate more brands and models so that we do not need to waste our time. I hope'm done something about it. This can not be so difficult.
