The Dude Storage Space

Hello, we are relatively new to routeros. Trying to install thedude as a syslog server on a XEN virtual machine. We used the cloud hosted router vmdk image. It started no problem but the disk is readonly. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Also, we set up a test version using digitalocean using a script suggested here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... k-routeros. We installed no problem (using the second script on that page) and were able to enable thedude. However, we noticed that the hard drive size is configured to only 128MB. As a syslog server, this isn't going to work so well as we expect the logs to grow quickly. Any ideas of how to work around this?

Thank you!

Hello,
On mentioned site (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... k-routeros) is third script which extends disk space (according to author description, not tested by me).
Did you try this one?

I did. But got an error when trying to reboot. More importantly, I'm wondering how others are using thedude as a syslog server. Where do you write the logs to if the primary disk has very little space?
